How to sell faster on Vinted: 10 fixes that actually work
Most slow Vinted sales come down to the cover photo, the title, the price or how quickly you reply. Here's what to change, in the order that matters.

The short answer
Most Vinted items sell slowly because of the cover photo, the title, the price or slow replies. Use a daylight photo of the whole item on a plain background, start the title with brand, item, detail and size, price against sold listings rather than live ones, and reply to messages and offers within the hour.

- The short version
Items on Vinted don't sell slowly because of bad luck. They sell slowly because a buyer scrolled past the photo, didn't find the listing in search, or saw a cheaper one. Fix those three things and most of the waiting goes away.
Here's what to do, roughly in order of how much difference it makes.
1. Make the cover photo the whole item, front on
Your first photo is the only one most people see while scrolling. Vinted's own advice is to show the entire item in the first picture and to skip collages. Lay it flat or hang it, shoot it straight on, and fill the frame.
A crumpled jumper on a duvet next to a phone charger loses to the same jumper laid flat on a plain floor every time. If you only fix one thing, fix this.
2. Shoot in daylight, near a window
Natural light shows the true colour. Ceiling bulbs and lamps turn whites yellow and blacks muddy, and buyers who've been burned by “navy” that turned out to be black will skip a dim photo. Turn the flash off, stand side-on to a window and take the photo in the morning or early afternoon.

3. Add more photos than you think you need
Vinted lets you add up to 20 photos per listing. You don't need 20, but you do need the ones that answer questions before they're asked: the back, the label, the size tag, the fabric close up, and any flaw. A listing with five clear photos gets fewer “can you send a pic of the label?” messages and more straight purchases.
4. Put brand, item and size at the start of the title
Buyers search for things like “nike tech fleece medium” or “zara linen blazer 10”. Put the words they'll type first: brand, what it is, then the detail that matters (colour, size, style). “Lovely top!!” never shows up in a search.
Vinted title tips covers the exact order.
5. Write a description that answers the obvious questions
Condition, measurements, fit, fabric and any marks. That's it. A buyer deciding between two similar items picks the one where they don't have to message first. Keep it short and plain, and be honest about flaws, because a “not as described” claim costs you more than a lower price would.
If writing descriptions is the bit you put off, this is exactly what FlipFast does: take a photo and it writes the title, description, condition, colours, price and hashtags in one go. You check it, tweak anything you want, and paste it into Vinted.
6. Price against what has actually sold
Search for your item, then look at what's listed and what's marked as sold. Price slightly under the cheapest similar listing in the same condition if you want it gone this week, or near the middle if you can wait. How to price items on Vinted goes through this properly.
7. Drop the price once, by a real amount
When you reduce the price of an item, people who favourited it get a notification. That's a direct nudge to everyone who was already interested. Make the drop big enough to matter (a pound off a £6 top won't change anyone's mind) and do it once rather than shaving 50p off every few days.
8. Reply fast and send offers to people who favourite
Vinted tells you when someone favourites your item. A quick message with a small discount often turns a maybe into a sale. When someone asks a question, answer within the hour if you can. The buyer is probably looking at three other listings while they wait for you.
9. Turn on bundle discounts
If you sell a lot of similar items, set a bundle discount in your settings so buyers get money off when they buy two or more. It moves the cheaper things that wouldn't sell on their own and it bumps up your average sale.
10. List consistently
A wardrobe with a few new items every day looks active, and you show up in front of your followers more often. It's much easier to keep up if listing an item takes two minutes instead of fifteen. Photograph a batch in one go, then write them up when you've got a spare moment.
The short version
Clear cover photo in daylight, searchable title, honest description, fair price, quick replies. Do those for every listing and you'll sell faster than most of the wardrobes you're competing with.
Quick answers
It depends on the item, the price and the season. Popular brands in common sizes at a fair price can go within days. If an item has had views but no favourites after a couple of weeks, the photo or price is usually the problem.
